Rainiers win
PORTLAND -- J.R. Phillips hit a three-run homer, Adrian Myers had a three-run double and Luis Figueroa made a spectacular play at second base to help save the game in the bottom of the ninth, as the Rainiers built a 9-1 lead and held on for a 9-8 victory over the Portland Beavers in Pacific Coast League action last night.
