Rainiers share first
EDMONTON, Alberta -- Luis Ugueto hit an RBI single in the top of the ninth inning to break a 4-4 tie, sending the Tacoma Rainiers to a 6-4 victory over the Edmonton Trappers in a Pacific Coast League baseball game last night.
The victory pulled the Rainiers into a three-way tie with Edmonton and the Portland Beavers for first place in the Northern Division.
Reliever Scott Atchison (5-3) allowed one run and two hits in one inning of relief to earn the victory.
