Rainiers win against Trappers

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

TACOMA -- Luis Ugueto singled home the winning run with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, giving the Tacoma Rainiers a 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Trappers yesterday in a Pacific Coast League game.

Mickey Lopez was hit by a pitch from Rob Stanifer (4-3) to lead off the ninth. Ramon Santiago followed with a sacrifice bunt, advancing Lopez to second base.

Ugueto then lined a 2-2 pitch cleanly into left field, scoring Lopez.
