Cold Heat of Bellevue beefs up exec ranks
Cold Heat, which is developing a series of consumer products, including a soldering tool that quickly heats up and cools down, yesterday added some firepower to its executive team and board of directors.
The Bellevue company, which raised $2.5 million last month and plans to begin selling the soldering tool on QVC this week, named Russell Borgmann vice president of technology and Peter Maslen to the board.
Borgmann previously served as a product manager at Kirkland-based Terabeam Corp. and managed research and development at Bellevue-based Coinstar.
Maslen is the former president of Starbucks Coffee International.
