This Week's Bite of the Week: Beecher's handmade cheese
Sometimes you want a bland wafer that provides a blank slate for a palette of artisan cheeses. But I've been having fun lately complementing strong-flavored cheeses with personality-rich Honey Hazelnut Crackers from Beecher's Handmade Cheese, 1600 Pike Place ($3.95/bag).
The crackers are a little thick, a little crunchy and, as expected, a little sweet and nutty. They're available at many supermarkets.
