Wine bar opens at Sea-Tac Airport
Bringing new meaning to the term "wine flight," Sea-Tac Airport today will open the doors of Vino Volo, a wine bar and retail store aiming for an upscale clientele.
Look for glasses and flights ranging from $6 to $45 and small-plate dishes including duck confit, Beecher's macaroni and cheese and a cured-meat platter, priced from $4 to $14. Vino Volo is in the Central Terminal Marketplace, which means only travelers with boarding passes who have cleared security can visit. Hours are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
The first Vino Volo opened at Dulles International Airport last year. Additional airport openings this fall are planned in Baltimore and Sacramento.
