OK, it's after the Fourth of July in Seattle, so you know that means? It's officially summer in the Puget Sound region.
While you're enjoying lazy, hanging-out-onthe-patio evenings, try this refreshing Super Summer Sipper from James Beard Award-winning chef Joey Altman. Altman offers up about 120 recipes in his first cookbook, "Without Reservations: How to Make Bold, Creative, Flavorful Food at Home" (Wiley).
SUPER SUMMER SIPPER
Serves: 1
2 ounces fresh orange juice
2 ounces fresh ruby red grapefruit juice
1 1/2 ounces Campari
Ice
Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)
Shake the juices and Campari in a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the drink with the ice into an old-fashioned glass and garnish with mint, if desired.
