Help for eTrust EZ Firewall users
Some readers using EZ Firewall will encounter problems viewing some of the comic strips in our "Fun & Games" section, including "Beetle Bailey," "Blondie," "Funky Winkerbean," "The Phantom" and others distributed by King Features Syndicate.
By default, EZ Firewall prevents Web browsers from transmitting the URL of the current Web page when requesting a graphic or new document. Reed Brennan Media Associates, which serves King Features' online cartoons, will not display them if its software cannot verify that a reader is coming from SeattlePI.com.
To fix this problem, you must change EZ Firewall's settings so that it will pass this information along.
Here's what you need to do:
(Note: These instructions assume that you have already visited SeattlePI.com and unsuccessfully tried to view one of the affected comic strips. If you have not, please do so before continuing.)
1. Open EZ Firewall and click "Privacy" on the left side of the window.
2. In the tab labeled "Site List."
3. Scroll to the row for the site pst.rbma.com.
4. In that row, right-click in the column labeled "Private Header" and select "Allow."

After you're done, the screen should look like this:

6. Exit EZ Firewall.
You should be able to view the King Features cartoons.
