Local comic writer takes on Martha
Martha Stewart used to be a normal homemaker until swimming in a radioactive lake made her the uptight, exacting household harpy we see on television. Oh, wait, that's Martha Stewtart, the crazed "Domestic Superhero" in local comic book writer John Lustig's "Last Kiss."

Hilarious stuff. For "The Wild & Wicked 'Women in Prison' Issue!" Lustig, along with Vancouver, Wash., artist Anne Timmons, hit the nail on the head.
It features an advice column penned by "Martha" while in the clink as well as a cutout "Martha" paper doll, complete with prison-issued orange jumpsuit.
The issue, priced at $4.99, came out the same day Martha (the real one) was indicted on insider-trading charges. It's available at area comic book stores, including the Comics Dungeon in Wallingford (206-545-8373).
