It's the day to be a good pal to your pooch
Dog owners, listen up and learn. Today is Responsible Dog Ownership Day, designated by the American Kennel Club.
Find out how you measure up by visiting www.akc.org/life/family/ways.cfm for 102 ways to be a good owner. Like other relationships, if you have a problem with the big "C," you're not ready for the time, financial and emotional commitments required to own a dog.
And like other relationships, the AKC says it's good to find the "spot" during intimate play: "Scratch your dog's belly often. If you find the 'spot,' so much the better." Two other AKC suggestions: Give kisses and massages. Say, just what kind of relationship are we getting into here?
