Miss Plastic Surgery Pageant announced
In an age when beauty is just a phone call to your local plastic surgeon away, it should come as no surprise that China will host the first ever Miss Plastic Surgery Pageant in October.
The contest is open to women everywhere, and the only requirement for entry is a doctor's note verifying the surgery, says The China Daily.
China is no stranger to trend-setting with its recent wave of pageantry. Last month, it announced plans for an "elderly" beauty pageant for women 55 and older. The name translated? The Zhen'ap Cup National Contest of the Beauty of the Gray-Head Group.
