Jeans too tight? Consider giving them to 'The Great Jeans Giveaway'
It you're no longer skinny enough to fit into your Kate Moss jeans, consider participating in "The Great Jeans Giveaway," part of the 20th annual National Eating Disorders Awareness week (sponsored by the Seattle-based National Eating Disorders Association).
The campaign starts Sunday and urges people to respect their bodies by donating jeans that have begun to fit like sausage casings rather than starve their way into them.
The jeans will be collected from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Tacoma Mall and March 4 at Northgate Mall. There are other locations in Seattle where you can shuck your denims all next week. Information: nationaleatingdisorders.org.
