Survey says 20 percent of adults plan to go trick-or-treating

A new survey by Shop.com finds that 20 percent of adults plan to go trick-or-treating for themselves, and that half of adults say Halloween is one of their top three holidays.

The one in three Americans who plan to decorate their homes for Halloween will spend $76 on decorations and other items such as candy. And 73 percent of adults said they have Halloween plans, whether it's passing out candy, going to a party or trick-or-treating, with or without kids.

For those 25 percent who plan to dress up, the most popular celebrity couple costumes are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Bill and Hillary Clinton and David and Victoria Beckham.
