PEACE GATHERING: Sound Non-violent Opponents of War, a coalition of religious groups and individuals committed to using non-violent means to oppose war, is hosting a gathering to prevent war on Iraq, Dec. 8, 1-4:30 p.m., at Garfield High School, 400 23rd Ave. (at East Jefferson St.). Featured speakers are the Rev. Rich Gamble, who recently visited Iraq; Rita Zawaideh, of the Arab American Community Coalition; and Dustin Washington, of American Friends Service Committee.
