Public records and police statements indicate that Kyle Huff, 28, formerly of Whitefish, Mont., might have been the shooter responsible for seven deaths, including his own, early Saturday morning following a late-night rave party.

Huff, and his twin brother, Kane Huff, lived for nearly five years on the third floor of the Town and Country Apartments in the 12300 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast in Seattle's Northgate neighborhood.
The Seattle SWAT team searched the apartment Saturday evening in the hours following the Capitol Hill shooting, public records show. Police confirmed they confiscated weapons and a hand grenade from the apartment.
Investigators interviewed the brother but did not make an arrest. As of midday Sunday, they declined to officially reveal the identity of either man.
However, police statements and neighborhood interviews indicate the suspect was a large man. Public records described both brothers as white males, 6'5" and 280 pounds. An apartment manager at the complex confirmed police took Kane Huff away for questioning.
Kyle Huff was charged with felony criminal mischief in 2000 in Whitefish for shooting a fiberglass statue of a moose that had been part of an art exhibit. He used two weapons in the shooting: a shotgun and a 45-caliber weapon, according to Det. Roger Bergstrom of the Whitefish Police Department.
