Most power restored in White Center, Burien
Power has been restored to most of the homes affected by a power outage in the White Center and Burien areas early Thursday.
Crews with Seattle City Light have restored power to all but about 60 customers. The outage began about 6 a.m. and at its peak affected about 6,500 customers, agency officials said.
Suzanne Hartman, director of public affairs for the agency, said the cause of the outage has not been determined.
Updated information is available on the agency's seattle.gov Web site.
