Utility bill the cause of deadly dispute
BELLEVUE -- A fight over a delinquent utility bill is what caused a Bellevue man to shoot and kill his tenant before turning his shotgun on himself, Bellevue police reported.
The second victim was identified Wednesday as Justin Horne, 25. The two men died Monday in a home in the 16200 block of Southeast Seventh Street. The dispute started when Horne confronted the homeowner, Wade Tyler, 37, about the electricity being shut off, police said.
Tyler had not paid the bill. The fight ended when Tyler grabbed a double-barrel, 12-gauge shotgun and blasted Horne in the chest, witnesses told police. He then shot himself in the head, police said.
A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman also lived in the home, police said.
