Elementary students to celebrate math

P-I STAFF

Seattle elementary school students and their families are invited Thursday to attend MathFest, a celebration of math that will feature activities such as solving logic problems or building a skyscraper out of playing cards.

The free event, sponsored by the Seattle nonprofit Explorations in Math, runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Rainier Community Center, 4600 38th Ave. S. in Seattle.
