ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A pregnant soldier from Fort Lewis was one of two women killed in a crash on Interstate 5 near Roseburg caused by a wrong-way driver.
Oregon State Police say that 20-year-old Chanthea Prak was eight months pregnant.
Prak was assigned to Fort Lewis but was from Fresno, Calif.
She was a passenger in a car driven by 21-year-old Andrew Cajita of San Mateo, Calif., who was critically injured.
Troopers say their car was struck by a vehicle heading the wrong way on the freeway early Sunday morning.
The driver of that car, 40- year-old Cheryl Rowe of Albany, also was killed.
