Police investigate shooting in Rainier Valley

By SCOTT GUTIERREZ
P-I REPORTER

Seattle police were investigating a shooting early Wednesday in South Seattle.

The victim, 38, was sitting on his front porch in the 1400 block of South Ferdinand Street when two men in a silver Cadillac stopped, got out and shot at him, police reported.

The victim was wounded in the shoulder and taken to Harborview Medical Center, police spokesman Mark Jamieson said.

Gang unit detectives were investigating, Jamieson said.
