Man stabbed critically in West Seattle domestic dispute

By KATHY MULADY
P-I REPORTER

A man in his 20s was critically wounded in a stabbing Wednesday just after 6 p.m. in front of a West Seattle home.

An 18-year-old woman, apparently the man's girlfriend, was arrested at the house. The stabbing happened in the 6000 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, according to a police spokesman. The woman was expected to be booked into King County Jail on suspicion of assault.

Police recovered a large kitchen knife that may have been used in the stabbing, said police spokesman Jeff Kappel.

The injured man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, said Kappel.
