Seattle police arrested a driver after he plowed into a construction site early Tuesday.
The crash happened just before 12:45 a.m. in the 10100 block of Holman Road Northwest, Seattle police reported.
Witnesses told police the driver was speeding when he hit a truck and then a light tower that crews working at the site were using.
The driver was apparently trapped at one point, but managed to get out and even tried to run. He did not get far before police officers arrested him.
Spokeswoman Renee Witt said officers first took the man to the hospital for treatment. The crash prompted police to close Holman Road to all traffic for about two hours.
