More than $10,000 worth of panties were stolen from a Victoria's Secret store at Bellevue Square last month, the Bellevue Police Department reported.
The panty heist was reported last Wednesday, but it actually happened between 2:30 and 5 p.m. on May 30.
A store employee reported to police that 650 pairs of panties of various colors, sizes and styles were stolen from the shelves, police spokesman Greg Grannis said.
Police had no suspects and the store had no video of the theft. An employee told police that the thief likely could have stuffed the merchandise into two large shopping bags, Grannis said.
Police were not aware of any other such large-scale panty thefts happening in Bellevue, he said.
