Woman pleads guilty to having sex with 12-year-old boy

BEND, Ore. -- A married woman has pleaded guilty to having sex with a 12-year-old boy.
Karyn Denise Jensen, 37, of Bend, pleaded guilty Monday. She faces more than six years in prison on charges of rape and sex abuse. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 14 in Deschutes County Circuit Court.
According to a police records, Jensen had sex with her young acquaintance numerous times last May and June.
The 12-year-old said Jensen told him that if anyone found out, she would go to prison. He said she told him that she knew it was wrong, but she did not want it to end, according to a search warrant affidavit filed by Bend police.
The boy's mother told police the relationship between her son and Jensen was strange because Jensen would often wrestle with him, sit right next to him in her car and give him lots of gifts.
Before calling the police on July 30, the mother said she confronted her son, and he told her they had been having sex. Jensen was arrested Sept. 4, 2001.
