A 46-year-old woman wanted on a federal warrant was taken into custody early in Issaquah Tuesday, but not before she allegedly fired shots at U.S. marshals who were trying to serve an arrest warrant.

Deborah Oldaker, 46, was arraigned in federal District Court in Seattle later in the day, and was charged with violating her probation in an Oklahoma credit-card fraud case. Oldaker's husband, David Berray, also was arraigned yesterday. He was charged with harboring a fugitive, his wife, and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

No one was injured in the shooting incident Monday night. The shots were fired about 7:30 p.m. as marshals tried to serve their warrant at a complex in the 300 block of Sunset Way.

After the shots were fired, police swarmed in from Issaquah, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, Covington, Maple Valley and Seattle.

Oldaker surrendered about 3 a.m. without incident, and was taken to the Issaquah jail. About 30 neighbors were evacuated during the standoff.
