ISSAQUAH, Wash. -- The King County sheriff's helicopter and boat responded urgently to a report of a hang glider down in Lake Sammamish only to find out it was a balloon in the water.
Sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart (URK'-hart) says someone on the shore of the lake near Issaquah saw the party balloon in the water near a rower wearing a yellow jacket and thought it looked like a hang glider.
Urquhart says no one needed rescuing in the Thursday morning incident.
