Woman hurt when bullet hits computer

SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER STAFF

EVERETT -- A woman was injured in a drive-by shooting about 5:45 a.m. yesterday as she sat at the computer in her home in the 3400 block of 119th Place Southeast. A bullet hit her computer screen, causing glass to shatter in her face, said Snohomish County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen.

Police found seven rounds in the house, Jorgensen said.

Although they did not give a motive, police said they do not believe the shooting was random.

Only the woman and her husband, who are both in their 40s, live at the home, Jorgensen said.
