BCC, WSU offer online social-science degree

SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER STAFF

BELLEVUE -- Students taking classes online through Bellevue Community College and Edmonds Community College can now complete an online degree in social sciences through an expanded partnership with Washington State University.

Students in the online program take the first two years of study through the online programs of Bellevue Community College and/or Edmonds Community College, for which they earn an associate in arts and sciences degree.

Students then finish the two years of the program at Washington State University's online programs and receive a bachelor's degree from WSU.

Other online degrees offered jointly by the three schools include A.A.S. and B.A. degrees in general business and management information systems.

For more information, visit www.distance-ed.bcc.ctc.edu/degreesframe.htm at Bellevue Community College; online.edcc.edu at Edmonds Community College; or www.distance.wsu.edu/degrees/#bachelor at Washington State University.
