Watch This: 'Shakira: Oral Fixation Tour'

93 minutes. Unrated.

Shakira picked a good name for her Oral Fixation Tour, not least because it offers up a clue to those fixated on another part of her anatomy. Her commanding voice is the main attraction here; that is, when it's not being drowned out by fans in her adopted hometown of Miami, singing along to many of the 16 songs in her set.

The Colombian singer gives them plenty to sing about. With only six selections from her recent pair of "Oral Fixation" CDs -- the English-language one might be summed up by a song title: "Don't Bother" -- Shakira reaches back to her '96 debut, "Pies Descalzos," for three songs, including the rambunctious title tune. (She previously recorded two teen-pop albums, but those never escaped Colombia.)

Shakira romps through her set with her pies descalzos, in the tradition of barefoot pop singers from Sandie Shaw to Joss Stone. (The British music-hall touches of "Hey You" recall Shaw's '60s stylings.)

Not surprisingly, the singer is more at home in her native idiom, as on her belly-dancing showcase "Ojos asi," which taps into her Lebanese heritage. Wyclef Jean helps energize "Hips Don't Lie," while Spanish superstar (and fellow Miami resident) Alejandro Sanz drops by to duet on the similarly hip-shaking "La tortura." DVD extras include documentaries on Shakira's world tour (125 cities including Mumbai, but not Seattle) and a trip back to her hometown of Barranquilla on behalf of her Pies Descalzos foundation.
