A plethora of pachyderms came to Sedro-Wooleey with the A.G. Barnes Circus in 1922, shown parading east on State Street on May 15. At the head of the line is Tusko, billed as the largest bull elephant in captivity at the time. Later in the evening, Tusko managed to escape but was recaptured the next morning.
