At Woodland Park, spring means ... Zoo Doo!
Ah, spring, and a young man's fancy turns to Zoo Doo.
The Woodland Park Zoo is about to have its Spring Fecal Fest, when you can get piles of high-quality poop from an exotic array of creatures. This year features a new product: Bedspread, a composted mulch made from the manure and bedding of non-primate herbivores.
The zoo is accepting entry cards for Bedspread and Zoo Doo from Thursday through March 31. Winners will be picked at random, and pickup starts April 14.
To enter, send a standard postcard to Zoo Doo, Woodland Park Zoo, 601 N. 59th St., Seattle, WA 98103. Include your name, day and night telephone numbers, whether you prefer Zoo Doo or Bedspread, how much you want (from a garbage bag to a pickup load) and whether you will pick up on the weekend or on a weekday.
Prices vary depending on how much you get. Visit zoo.org
