A car isn't the only option for commuting to your job in Redmond

If you are going to work in Redmond, the only option is to drive a car, right? The Greater Redmond Transportation Management Association, which is backed by major employers, promotes all sorts of options. It held an eco-commuting fair last week and honored Tour de Redmond's 362 bicycle challenge participants, who logged 82,365 miles during a summer program. A Microsoft team recruited 59 people, who pedaled 22,809 miles. Eric Bisset did 1,292 miles for Avocent, and teammate Susan Lanphere had the longest daily round trip, 33 miles.
