NOTES: Thursday is the final home game of the year for Seattle. The Sounders are 8-3-2 at Qwest Field in league play. ... A win would put the Sounders one point ahead of the Portland Timbers and Montreal Impact. All three teams have one more road game this weekend. ... Seattle is 2-0 in its two previous games against expansion California, both on the road. ... Roger Levesque leads the Sounders with eight regular-season goals. Yuri Morales tops California with five. ... Seattle is coming off of a 2-1 overtime loss to FC Dallas in the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday. Leighton O'Brien scored the Sounders' lone goal in the 120th minute.
