People in the News: Elton opens mouth, inserts foot, yet again
Elton John blames Victoria Beckham for the infidelity of her husband, soccer star David Beckham. But John, a friend of the perma-tanned couple and a godfather to their two sons, told Heat magazine the pair's relationship is healing.
The Beckham's marriage was stirred and shaken earlier this year when David's personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, went public with claims she was having an affair with him.

According to The Associated Press, John told Heat that Victoria should have moved with the Real Madrid star when he relocated to the Spanish capital (she decided to stay in Britain to pursue her ailing "singing" career).
"I think he missed her and the boys terribly," said John. "If you live six months in a hotel room in Madrid -- or anywhere -- it's going to drive you crazy. I think they should have gone together as a family."
Wait a second ... because Victoria wasn't with her husband for a few months, that means he had no choice but to have an affair? Good Lord. This guy really ought to stop talking. Then again, he is giving us something to be catty about ...
"Pam strolled out of Stephen's house at around 10:30 a.m.," said the unnamed nosey Nelly. "Her hair was a bird's nest -- it was obvious she had just gotten out of bed. She was wearing knee-high boots, black leggings, a sweater and dark sunglasses -- the same outfit she was wearing when she came over the night before. It looked like she had a rough night."
Not as rough as the chump who hung out outside that skeezy Dorff's place all night!
The AP reports Ken Wharfe said he thinks there is no truth in Diana's suggestion that Barry Mannakee, a policeman assigned to protect her, was killed after their affair was discovered.
"Of course I don't think he was killed, there was no reason for him to be killed," Wharfe told ITV television in London. He wrote a book about his years guarding the princess and her sons.
"Diana sadly was prone to listen to all the sycophantics (sic) that existed and juggle with other methods like tarot cards," he told ITV.
Diana, who died in a 1997 Paris car crash, made the claim about Mannakee in a 1992 tape broadcast Monday on NBC. Mannakee died in a motorcycle accident in 1987.
