People in the News: Lots of tidbits for Brad Pitt fans

Brace your wandering eyes! Pics of Brad in the buff may soon be on your friendly, local Internet.

The New York Post reports that the Pittster's legal beagle, John Lavely, has sent a letter warning publications not to publish nekid Brad pics snapped on the balcony of the star's L.A. home. Hasn't the man from Missouri (yes, the Show Me State) heard of paparazzi in choppers?

Whether the legal threat will bear fruit rather than bare Brad seems doubtful these days.

In unrelated Brad news, Us Weekly reports that Brad was checking out engagement rings at the tony house of Cartier for Ms. Angelina Jolie.

In semi-related Brad news, rumors circulate that Angelina's tummy is showing ... a little added girth, reports Life & Style mag. She is said to have suffered a fainting spell on the set of her next flick. Could that mean for Brad & Angelina that the prego horse is getting ahead of the hitchin' cart?

Eva Longoria of Desperate You-Know-Whats cheers on her NBA beau, Spurs guard Tony Parker, during a Spurs-Pacers tilt Tuesday eve in San Antonio. Longoria's luscious puss shows no obvious stress lines following last weekend's encounter with Alamo City police during a late-night traffic stop of Parker's wheels.

  • Don't expect Keith Urban on bended knee before Nicole Kidman, warns Urban's ex-longtime squeeze in Britain's Sun tab.

Sure, there may be rumors of fourth-finger action for Nicole, perhaps already under way, but Laura Sigler ain't buyin' it.

"Nicole and Keith might date for a while, but it won't last very long," Sigler predicts. "I don't know her but I know him very well."

Sigler spent several tumultuous years with the country star, who once had a well-pubbed fondness for coke (note: no cap letter, not the soft drink).

  • Don't blame a dead bird.

The much-reported return of Oprah's jet to the Santa Barbara airport was not the result of a bird slamming into the plane's windshield, reports The Associated Press. The spokesman blamed the damage instead on structural fatigue, but no reason was given for the sudden change in windshield tune. Could the spokester have some kind of bird grudge?
