Cameron Diaz, to the cheers of celebrities everywhere, has scored a victory in court with an award for statutory damages for the illegal sale of photographs and video taken of the bare-breasted star more than 10 years ago, reported E! Online.

Diaz sued paparazzi photog John Rutter in 2004 for "unauthorized commercial use of her name and image" in images that he tried to sell to her for $3.3 million. When she refused, he told her he'd sell it for a higher price.

Diddy: Powerful perfumer, but not punctual. Megamogul Sean Combs was scheduled to ring the 9:30 a.m. bell at the New York Stock Exchange Monday but got stuck in traffic. Diddy was on the floor promoting the sales of "Unforgivable" -- which has become the No. 1 selling fragrance at U.S. department stores.
The scheme landed the photog in jail last summer after a conviction on "felony charges of forgery, perjury and attempted grand larceny."

As for the images, they've been legally sealed away from voyeurs.

  • Oh, love child of TomKat, you will be born out of wedlock, if your daddy has any say in the matter. That's right, folks, Tom Cruise, in anticipation of his first biological child with Katie Holmes, told a German tab mawwiage can wait.

Doing some commercial work in Germany, Cruise took some time to pontificate about his upcoming life changes. The AP relayed the quote from the tab: "First the baby, then the film. Then, in summer, we want to get married. I won't let this woman get away."

That wedding would occur after the release of his anticipated blockbuster, the third installment of the "Mission: Impossible" films.

  • Russell Crowe: you might want to kick your smoking habit before playing any gigs in Washington. The A-list Oscar winner recently was slammed in his native New Zealand for allegedly puffing between sets, a move that violates a national smoke ban, reported the AP.

Crowe is on tour with his new band, The Ordinary Fear of God, and was seen smoking at Leigh on North Island. Crowe wouldn't get in trouble, but the venues could face fines in the thousands if the allegations hold up.
