Welcome to the latest round in the war between Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, two battling spouses whose problems have taken a public, ugly turn with the submission of a 17-page declaration from Richards detailing years of volatile mood swings, manhandling and oral assaults from Sheen, whom she portrayed as a less-than-enthusiastic father who repeatedly threatened her life. People magazine reported an order from a Los Angeles judge keeping Sheen at least 300 feet from Richards and their two young daughters after Richards submitted her papers Friday.

The couple filed for divorce in March 2005. After a short reconciliation last fall, they proceeded with the divorce in January.

Sheen sparred through People, which ran a story about his new Sheen Kidz children's clothing line, and tersely denied Richards' claims. "I'm not going to lower myself to become a mudslinger and enter that cesspool of accusation, because that's not who I am."

People also reported a supposed hookup between Richards and soon-to-be-ex Mr. Heather Locklear, Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora. The two were spotted holding hands and kissing outside a cafe in Sambora's neighborhood, Westlake Village. Locklear was Sheen's former co-star in "Spin City."
