Seattle native and 27-time Grammy Award winner Quincy Jones will receive the Grammy Foundation's Leadership Award July 28 in Los Angeles in recognition of his lifetime commitment to social, cultural, economic and educational issues.
David Foster is the musical director of the Starry Nights fund-raiser, which will feature performances by Gloria Estefan, Patti LaBelle, Anthony Hamilton and John Legend.
The event is part of the Recording Academy's 50th-anniversary celebration. Individual tickets for the event start at $750 and top out at $2,500. Tables can be had for $7,500, $12,500, $17,500 and $25,000. Interested? Visit grammyfoundation.com.
