The latest on 'Boobgate'

SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER STAFF AND NEWS SERVICES

Keeping you abreast of the latest fallout from Janet Jackson's Super Bowl chest-baring at the hands of Justin Timberlake:

  • Jackson has backed out of Sunday's Grammy Awards, where she was to be a presenter. Instead, Patti LaBelle will give a special award to Luther Vandross.

  • NBC removed a glimpse of an elderly patient's breast from last night's episode of "ER" due to "the atmosphere created by this week's events."

  • Timberlake insists he thought only Jackson's bustier would be revealed when he yanked on her costume and that he understands a lot of people were offended, "including my own family."

  • ABC plans an audio and video delay so it can delete incidents at the Oscars on Feb. 29. CBS will have a five-minute delay for Sunday's Grammys.

  • AOL won't comment on reports it will seek a refund of the $7.5 million it paid to sponsor the halftime show.
