Local women to compete on 'Survivor 11'
Of the 16 people who will sweat, starve and scheme their way through the jungles and rain forests of Guatemala on "Survivor 11," which CBS begins airing on Sept. 15, two are from the Seattle metro area.
One is 21-year-old Brianna of Edmonds, who works in retail sales and is a makeup artist. She enjoys biking and snorkeling, and her favorite sports team is the Sonics.
The other is Lydia, a 42-year-old fishmonger who lives in Lakewood and likes the Mariners. She lists her favorite outdoor activities as Dungeness crabbing and fishing.
That would have come in handy on the last island-based "Survivor," but maybe there are some lake fish for her. The show airs locally on KIRO/7.
